At Anopa, we believe that trust in product origin cannot be built without scientific proof. That’s why we are proud to announce that our company is among the finalists for the <\/span>Alfred Sauvy Prize<\/b>, an emblematic distinction that supports innovative projects rooted in the Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es-Orientales.<\/span><\/p>\n

An award that highlights innovation and the region<\/b><\/h2>\n

Created in 1999 by the network of Catalan Executives, the Alfred Sauvy Prize pays tribute to <\/span>Alfred Sauvy<\/b>, a brilliant demographer, director of INED, professor at the Coll\u00e8ge de France, and inventor of the term <\/span>Third World<\/span><\/i>. This prestigious award annually recognizes a <\/span>new, original, and innovative activity<\/b>, with the ambition to <\/span>support young businesses<\/b> in the region and to <\/span>promote their local economic and social impact<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The laureate receives financial support of <\/span>\u20ac10,000<\/b> and multi-year support to accelerate its development.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recognition for our scientific approach<\/b><\/h2>\n

Being a finalist for this award is true recognition for Anopa. From Perpignan, we are developing a technology for <\/span>traceability through isotopic analysis<\/b>, capable of precisely determining the geographical origin of a food product. This solution is aimed at agricultural and agri-food sectors seeking <\/span>transparency, ethics, and reliability<\/b>: coffee, cocoa, honey\u2026 all products for which provenance is a key issue.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our method is for those who want to go beyond paper declarations, to build a solid, verifiable, and responsible supply chain.<\/span><\/p>\n

This award highlights the entrepreneurial energy of the Catalan region, and we are honored to be among the projects selected this year. It is also a way for us to promote locally applied science, serving a more just and sustainable world.<\/span><\/p>\n
